even us in the West know it is pronounced eastern shure by its natives. I once visited Oxford and the Robert Morris Inn with its one car ferry to Saint Michaels. Thoroughly charming. Wye Island's 'beaten biscuits' can't be beat. Best biscuits I ever tasted ever despite their crude method of preparation.
